Thank you to the Zeeland Community for supporting the 2021 bond program. Through passing this bond, $75 million will be generated to support district-wide improvements addressing: 1) preserving district facilities, 2) safety and security improvements, and 3) growth.
Project highlights:
Renovating elementary school art rooms, Cityside Middle School classrooms and the Early Childhood Center
Upgrading equipment in industrial arts and skilled trades spaces at Zeeland West High School
Expanding facilities for Zeeland Recreation and Zeeland athletics, including fine arts and the community track
Improving traffic patterns at the pick-up and drop-off zones at school buildings
Upgrading interior and exterior lighting, fire alarms and security cameras
Adding inclusive and accessible ADA equipment for students of all abilities
Plumbing, mechanical, electrical and building system upgrades to extend useful life and improve operational efficiency
Districtwide replacement of aged windows, ceilings, roofing, parking lots and paving
Updating HVAC to include air conditioning
