Building the Future: A Look Back at 2024's Construction Milestones

2024 has been a year of exciting development for the Zeeland Public Schools! Several key construction projects were completed and several more are in progress. We've made great strides in improving facilities and creating spaces that support student success. Check out this year-end recap of projects that took place around the district. These milestones are helping us build a better future for our community!

Zeeland East and Zeeland West Weight Rooms

To kick off the 2024 year, we celebrated the completion of our weight room and indoor turf spaces at both Zeeland East and Zeeland West High Schools. These state of the art facilities will provide an incredible boost to our physical education programs, giving students more opportunities to stay active and build lifelong healthy habits. They will also enhance our athletics programs, helping our teams train more effectively and reach their full potential.

Cityside and Creekside

Slide through these photos of upgrades and construction to our Middle Schools! The gym and art room improvements, along with our unit upgrades, will create better spaces for students to learn, grow, and explore their passions.

Elementary Schools

Our elementary schools saw improvements to parking lots, units and ventilation, ac, and even additions! These upgrades not only create safer and more efficient spaces for families and staff but also provide a more comfortable and welcoming environment for students to learn and thrive.

Sports Complex Update

The new sports complex is making outstanding progress. The team rooms and concessions for the soccer/lacrosse fields have been framed out with masonry. The connecting path has been cleared to connect the tennis courts and fields.

This year has brought significant progress to Zeeland Schools with several key construction projects. Students are now benefiting from new shop equipment for woodshop and metals, updated art supplies, and a new grand piano for our choir program. These additions enhance hands-on learning and creative opportunities for our students. We are grateful to the Zeeland community for their continued support in making these improvements possible.
