This summer, construction will take place around New Groningen Elementary to improve the Chicago Drive parking lot and create a safer, more efficient traffic pattern. The congestion of the current traffic flow will be improved so that parents can more safely navigate around the building during drop-off and pick-up times.
We will expand the number of parking spots on-site and create a longer drop-off/pick-up loop to eliminate spillover traffic onto Chicago Dr.
We are excited that construction will be complete by the time students return to school.
