Welcome back to school, Chix and Dux! Our construction crews have been hard at work over the summer getting the new school spaces ready for students.
At Zeeland East High School, the two new classrooms have been finished and all equipment has been moved in.
At Zeeland West High School, the renovation of the physical education space is nearly complete. The new space features an indoor turf on one side, and multipurpose flooring on the other. The last step will be moving the equipment in, including all-new weight training equipment on the multipurpose side.
Over at Cityside Middle School, the science classroom has received polished floors, a fresh coat of paint, and new cabinetry.
The art room has received similar upgrades, with plenty of cabinet space for Cityside students to store their art supplies and completed artworks.
The gymnasium and locker rooms have also been freshly painted and have received new lockers and polished flooring.
